Who created the first artificial intelligence?  The first artificial intelligence was created by Alan Turing, a British mathematician and computer scientist, in 1950. He proposed the Turing test, a method to determine whether a machine can exhibit intelligent behaviour equivalent to or indistinguishable from a human. He also designed the Turing machine, a hypothetical device that can perform any computation that a human can do. He is widely regarded as the father of artificial intelligence, computer science, and cryptography.
